Neurosurgery

KMCMC&H’s neurosurgery unit has been functional for more than a decade. Its operation theatre is equipped with a neurosurgical microscope and C-arm. In addition to management of head injuries, routine trauma-related surgeries, spinal surgeries and shunt procedures are performed. The OPD runs 4 days a week. Neurosurgical ICU care is also provided. UG & PG teaching is done in association with the Department of Surgery with emphasis on neurological & neurosurgical aspects. We further plan to start a neuro-endovascular facility.
